BOOK RENTAL

As a result of House Bill 1123, Yorktown Community Schools will no longer be collecting textbook rental fees effective 2023-2024 school year.  However, with the growing costs of technology and technology repairs, YCS highly encourages families to purchase the Device Protection Plan during Registration this school year. The Yorktown Community Schools Student Device Insurance Repair Plan helps defer costs for damaged screens, keyboards, case, cables, etc. The Insurance Repair Plan costs $45 per student per school year. This is an optional purchase at the end of Registration.

YCS REFUND POLICY FOR TECHNOLOGY INSURANCE

There will be no refunds. If a student is unenrolled from YCS for any reason, the Student Device Insurance Repair Plan will not be refunded. If a student withdraws from YCS and then re-enrolls later in the same school year, the Student Device Insurance Repair Plan will be reinstated until the expiration date of the original policy period.
